Insurance Coordinator

Gertens Family of Business is hiring an insurance expert to join our team.
This part time Insurance Coordinator will manage within the company best practices, non-complex to moderately complex auto and general liability claims.
Additionally, will work within delegated authority to best reach possible outcomes for GFOB and our customers.
This is a remote part-time position, and the role will flex during peak seasons to require more hours than lower peak seasons.
The Insurance Coordinator must be able to manage time efficiently and effectively providing measured outcomes.
What to expect in this position:
oPursuant to line of business strategies and good faith claim settlement practices, investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and resolves (within authorized limits) customer claims.
oDemonstrates technical proficiency, routinely low to moderate complexity auto and general liability claims with minimal manager oversight.
oEstablishes and maintains positive relationships with both internal and external customers, providing the highest level of customer care, responsiveness and satisfaction to deliver superior outcomes.
oDeliver accurate, fair, timely and cost-effective resolution of claims.
oAct as a liaison for GFOB during insurance renewal periods for the organization working closely with the broker to ensure the best cost for plans is obtained.
oReview insurance endorsements for accuracy and cost effectiveness.
oThe Insurance Coordinator will oversee the renewal process both in negotiating renewals as well as review of all renewal and endorsement details throughout the year to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

years of relevant experience required.

oAbility to work remotely with a flexible part-time schedule.
oAbility to use keyboard, mouse and computer for up to six hours per day.
oAbility to use the telephone for approximately two to three hours per day.
oAbility to perform simple grasping including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc.
