SummaryCHS has an exciting opportunity to lead a team and collaborate with colleagues across CHS Energy partners in Lubricants, Propane, Energy Equipment, AFD, Sales, and other key internal stakeholder groups.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager of Refined Fuels.
This position will have oversight of other marketing staff in the refined fuels department as well as full accountability for creating and managing advertising budget.
The Marketing Manager, Refined Fuels will also be responsible for the team's creation of materials, both web and print based, to educate Energy Sales staff, Cenex Marketers, and C-Store employees about all marketing programs.
Responsibilities Create and manage Cenex Refined Fuels brand strategy, promotions and marketing programs.
Includes:
Vendor management, tracking, measurement, and intensive communication to multiple audiences.
Manage team ensuring all tactical task and responsibilities are completed and strategic objectives are met.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create cross-functional energy strategy and communications.
Development of high-level strategies to grow product volume within existing trade area via collaboration with distribution, manufacturing and branded sales technical services teams.
Create, manage, and communicate a system of accountability to measure execution efficiency and strategy implementation across marketing team.
Cross-manage product slate optimization, branded dealer agreements and competitive pricing to meet dealer needs for prospecting and maintaining business across various audience segments.
Represent product marketing team through presentations to key stakeholders including CHS leadership, customer meetings, sales team meeting and additional CHS-sponsored events.
Create and manage both P&L and annual trade advertising budget for assigned product marketing; utilize reporting tools and scorecard metrics.
Manage annual advertising budget.
Strategic oversight of all advertising and communications for assigned product(s).
Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required) High School diploma or GED 4
years of experience in Communications and/or Marketing Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities Additional Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Communication Arts, Marketing, Journalism, Business, English or related field Excellent writing and communication skills Proficient in MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Writer Strong customer service skills and effective time management Experience creating and implementing marketing programs, and creating metrics to measure their effectiveness Previous budget management experience Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.

Travel up to 20% CHS offers a competitive total rewards package.
Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
