The Industrial Maintenance Technician assists in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of corporate equipment and facilities, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, and minor construction or remodeling.

Maintenance Technician Main
Responsibilities:
Performs basic maintenance and repairs to equipment.
Performs basic maintenance and repairs facilities and vehicles to keep company assets in good working condition.
Performs scheduled maintenance.
Repairs buildings, floors, and/or stairs to ensure all building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.
Performs basic rough and finished carpentry work to include patching and painting of walls, staining of millwork trim and minor repairs to partitions, walls, doors, shelving, etc.
Acts as a resource to leadership and employees by following up on all maintenance requests promptly and accurately.
Maintenance Technician Key Requirements:
Certification or higher from a Trade School or Vocational-Technical Institute preferred, or equivalent work experience.
One year minimum related experience with maintenance work, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Valid Minnesota driver's license is required.
Class A license and DOT designation preferred.
Able to perform routine inspections of work areas, keeping inspection reports, and ability to discuss issues, paying special attention to detail and problem areas.
Able to perform maintenance on vehicles and equipment, and to determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook for email.
Able to monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
