Travel Tags has an exciting opportunity at our Inver Grove Heights location! The QA Analyst position emphasizes on improving our quality reporting system to ensure data is reliable, timely and accessible to customers and stakeholders and relevant for general decision making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development and implementation of Travel Tags quality reporting system to serve both internal and external customers. Act as the owner of customer-required reports, inquiries and summaries on a daily basis.
Build strong customer relationships through regular proactive communication. Effectively handle customer interactions, requests and complaints.
Perform statistical analysis on data generated by the factor measurement system and other engineering studies.
Support the development and implementation of electronic data process in the production measurement system
Assess and improve the quality of production measurement system using gauge studies and other problem solving tools consistent with Lean-Sigma methodology
Participate in the facilitation of root cause analysis, corrective/preventative action brainstorming sessions
Participate in improving and maintaining the Travel Tags Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2008 standard
Participate in 5S, safety, AIB, data security and social compliance audits
Participate in training employees on quality tools and methods
Serve as a resource and subject matter expert on production measurement system, quality reporting, audits, Lean-Sigma tools and methods
Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, science, applied mathematics, applied statistics or other related quantitative fields required
Completed Six Sigma green belt training required; black belt training preferred
Minimum 3 years working in a Manufacturing/Production environment
Minimum 3 years of experience with production quality assurance process, measurement process, electronic data process, relational databases and data reporting systems.

years of applying Lean/Six Sigma methodology in a manufacturing/production environment
Experience facilitating group activities such as brainstorming sessions, root-cause analysis, process mapping and consensus meetings
Excellent in data assembly, manipulation, processing, analysis and writing technical reports.
Proficient in statistical analysis software such as JMP or Minitab
Strong understanding of Lean/Six Sigma tools and methods
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective in task organization and group facilitation
Proficient in computer, including MS Office and Visio
Fluency in SQL and Visual Basicpreferred
