Travel Tags has a new opportunity for aProduct Marketing Managerat our Inver Grove Heights location.The Product Marketing Manager will develop subject matter expertise of a key line of products and services, and will lead revenue growth efforts through new market and product development, product lifecycle management, and marketing programs that drive qualified sales leads.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing and Strategy
Identify and assess market opportunities, recommend strategies to capitalize on them, and develop tactical plans for execution
Analyze actions and capabilities of the competition, track and communicate key findings, recommend counter-actions as deemed necessary
Develop marketing and demand generation programs that drive profitable growth
Manage positioning, awareness and messaging for assigned product lines
Develop and articulate unique selling propositions across assigned product lines
Sales Support
Develop, manage and track lead generation programs across multiple channels (i.e., digital, direct response, etc.)
Act as primary subject matter expert for assigned products, assisting at the product line or individual account level as needed to win business
Conduct product/service training
Assist with development of presentations and other sales support assets
Other tactical support as needed
Innovation, Product Development & Product Management
Conduct market/customer needs assessments; gather key product and service requirements
Create product plans
Represent the voice of the customer/voice of sales on cross-functional development teams
Create launch plans and execute assigned tactical elements
Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing and R&D to manage product lifecycles
Required: 4-year degree in Marketing, Business or Management
Demonstrated experience performing the essential duties & responsibilities outlined above
3 to 5 years of Marketing, Product Marketing and/or Product Management experience, preferably in a business-to-business experience manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Resourceful self-starter with a sense of urgency when needed
A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels
