What does a Geek Squad Technology Education Agent do?
The Geek Squad Technology Education Agent (TEA) performs walk-out working solutions, clinics and classroom based trainings to help our customers along their technology journey. This role has a strong knowledge of all services, technology and store business category strategies and ensures that no clients are ever left un-served or underserved, no matter where they bought their product. The TEA partners with other employees, especially the sales team, to ensure clients end-to-end needs are met and is a brand ambassador for both the Geek Squad and Best Buy brands.
80% of your time you will:
Educate clients utilizing the Sales Excellence engagement model to provide them walk-out working solutions, clinics and has classroom based trainings
10% of your time you will:
Stay current on the latest and greatest technology
10% of your time you will:
Engage with sales team to explain services and technology to help them achieve business category goals
What are the Professional Requirements of a Geek Squad Technology Education Agent?
Basic Requirements:
3-6 months working experience
Preferred Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Associate degree in general electronics or computer repair

years retail or customer service experience

years experience diagnosing or repairing PCs or consumer electronicsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
